Legal Compliance Specialist

About the role

Kafaa Capital is seeking a Legal Compliance Specialist to safeguard legal integrity and ensure regulatory compliance across its investment and financing operations. You will work closely with internal teams and the Shariah Committee to support the development of Shariah‑compliant, digital investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on financial and investment matters to internal departments.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, financing agreements, guarantees, pledges, debt instruments, and commercial agreements.
• Assess legal risks for transactions, investment projects, and new product launches.
• Review offering documents, investment agency agreements, and terms & conditions for legal and compliance compliance.
• Coordinate with external counsel, support litigation, and manage documentation before authorities and commercial courts.
• Facilitate meetings, legal material preparation, and research in coordination with the Shariah Committee.
• Manage regulatory engagements with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), ensuring timely reporting and submissions.
• Monitor updates to Saudi regulations (Civil Transactions Law, Companies Law, Finance Companies Control Law, CMA, AML/CTF guidelines).
• Implement compliance policies, conduct audits, risk assessments, and support SPE setup.
• Deliver internal compliance training.

Required profile

• Saudi or GCC national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years practical legal experience (2 years with a Master’s).
• Hold CME‑1 and CME‑2 certifications.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency or higher.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulations, especially Companies Law and CMA rules.
• Excellent legal analysis and contract drafting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
