Legal Counsel (GCC Corporate & Commercial)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our legal team and support business lines across the GCC, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The role involves providing corporate, advisory, contract and dispute‑resolution expertise to ensure a business‑friendly regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and deliver comprehensive advice on transactions and commercial matters, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with management and business units to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Liaise with authorities, associations and external stakeholders to maintain a favorable regulatory landscape in GCC countries.
• Represent the company in litigation, legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Monitor changes in the legal landscape and industry trends.
• Develop and maintain a high‑quality network of external law firms and legal advisors.
• Travel to Bahrain and other GCC locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in GCC jurisdictions.
• Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract and commercial law.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage legal projects under tight deadlines.
