Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel provides day‑to‑day legal support to ZOI, focusing on commercial contract drafting, legal advisory, and regulatory monitoring. You will work closely with internal teams and external counsel to ensure the company’s operations comply with Saudi law and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, service contracts, vendor and customer contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Provide timely legal advice on contractual, commercial and operational matters to business stakeholders.
• Identify legal risks, propose practical mitigation measures and ensure documents are commercially balanced.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia and assess their impact on ZOI.
• Liaise with external law firms for specialized matters, disputes and litigation support.
• Maintain and archive legal documentation, ensuring version control and accessibility.
• Assist in drafting and updating internal policies, procedures, legal notices and governance documents.
• Support the Senior Legal Counsel & Company Secretary in cross‑market legal coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department, preferably with exposure to Saudi commercial law.
• Proven experience in commercial contract drafting, legal advisory and regulatory monitoring.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial contract drafting and review.
• Ability to interpret and summarize legal and regulatory changes.
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Clear, business‑oriented legal writing in English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with telecom regulations and data‑center legal matters.
