Legal Counsel (Senior Executive)

About the role

The Legal Counsel is a senior executive responsible for overseeing all legal matters that affect the company's operations. The role provides legal advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian and international regulations. Experience in the sports, venues, or entertainment sector is highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor to the CEO, executive team and Board on all legal and regulatory matters.
• Support company incorporation, regulatory filings and government registrations.
• Advise on corporate governance frameworks, Board procedures and joint‑venture obligations.
• Establish and monitor the Delegation of Authority (DOA) framework.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts, including venue operation, service‑level, licensing and supplier agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, trackers and a central repository.
• Lead legal aspects of partnerships, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
• Provide counsel on technology, intellectual property and data‑protection matters.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor, commercial, data‑protection and sector‑specific laws.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise on required actions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks across the business.
• Lead dispute resolution, manage litigation and coordinate with external counsel.
• Oversee insurance arrangements and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Advise on employment contracts, HR policies, labor‑law compliance and Saudization requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level executive with extensive experience in corporate legal advisory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Saudi corporate, labor and commercial law.
• Experience in the sports, venues or entertainment sector is highly valued.
• Proven ability to support Board governance and high‑level decision‑making.
