Legal Executive

About the role

The Legal Executive will provide comprehensive legal support to Bayut, the leading property portal in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to senior legal counsel, you will manage litigation, draft and review contracts, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and represent the company in court proceedings and other legal cases.
• Draft, review and vet litigation documents such as suits, defenses and applications.
• Assist in dispute resolution and negotiate out‑of‑court settlements.
• Prepare and review legal documents including resolutions, powers of attorney, NDAs, contracts, SLAs and company policies.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters and conduct legal research.
• Handle company secretarial duties, including filings, registrations and licences.
• Liaise with government authorities as required.
• Develop and implement compliance programmes and maintain organized legal records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice and in good standing before the Courts of KSA.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Executive or similar, with litigation exposure, especially employment disputes.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Legal research and contract drafting abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
