Legal Executive

About the role

The Legal Executive will support Silq’s Head of Legal in executing Saudi legal workstreams. This includes commercial contracting, regulatory research, bilingual drafting, and coordination with internal teams and external counsel to ensure timely and accurate legal documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review supplier agreements, customer terms, NDAs, service agreements, and other operational contracts.
• Conduct first‑level research on SAMA regulations, fintech, AML/KYC, PDPL, e‑commerce and Saudi commercial law, and produce concise summaries.
• Support strategic projects by preparing documentation, trackers, commercial schedules, and closing checklists.
• Assist with SAMA licensing and regulatory readiness, including mapping, document collection, and external counsel coordination.
• Help external funding processes through document management, contract clean‑up, due‑diligence preparation, and investor‑facing coordination.
• Draft and review Arabic‑English legal documents, ensuring consistency and flagging inconsistencies.
• Coordinate with finance, product, commercial, operations and compliance teams to gather information and manage legal trackers.
• Support future GCC expansion through preliminary legal research and external counsel liaison.
• Maintain legal trackers, contract repositories, version control and execution checklists.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in commercial, finance or fintech environments.
• Strong ability to work independently and support senior legal leadership.
• Excellent bilingual Arabic‑English drafting and communication skills.
• Proven experience in contract review, regulatory research and stakeholder coordination.
