Legal Specialist – Litigation & Contracts

About the role

Bayut, the leading property portal in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Legal Specialist to manage litigation and contract matters. You will provide comprehensive legal support, represent the company in court, and ensure compliance across all business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and represent the company in all legal cases before Saudi courts.
• Draft, review, and vet litigation documents such as suits, defenses, and applications.
• Assist in dispute resolution and negotiate out‑of‑court settlements.
• Prepare and review legal documents including NDAs, contracts, SLAs, resolutions, powers of attorney, and company policies.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters and conduct up‑to‑date legal research.
• Handle company secretarial duties, filings, registrations, and licences.
• Liaise with government authorities for company establishment and maintenance.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and risk‑management initiatives.
• Maintain organized legal records and support the legal team administratively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice before Saudi courts.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Specialist or similar, with litigation exposure, especially employment disputes.
• Proven experience in contract review, drafting, and legal research.
• Strong knowledge of KSA laws and regulations.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, including legal drafting.
• High ethical standards, confidentiality, and commercial acumen.
