Litigation Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Saudi Arabia. The role will support multiple business lines on a broad spectrum of contentious disputes, including civil, commercial, administrative, labor, and other ADR matters. You will independently manage dispute resolution cases and shape litigation strategy across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee litigation matters such as commercial disputes, labor cases, and other contentious proceedings throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
• Review and analyze claims, evidence, and legal documents to support case preparation and decision‑making.
• Represent the company before courts, arbitration centers, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain a high‑quality pool of external law firms and coordinate closely with external counsel.
• Provide proactive legal advice to business teams on dispute risks and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional internal teams on dispute‑related matters.
• Monitor legal developments and update stakeholders on litigation trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Solid experience handling all types of legal disputes.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi legal and judicial system.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently in an organized manner.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.
