About the role

The Manager – Procurement Training & Transformation leads client‑facing procurement engagements, delivering training, transformation initiatives and ensuring profitability. The role combines project leadership, business development and mentorship of junior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead one or more moderate‑complexity procurement engagements, consulting with senior partners as needed.
• Manage commercial aspects to meet quality, utilization and profitability targets.
• Develop and maintain external networks, leveraging contacts for new business opportunities.
• Contribute to case studies, proposals and knowledge assets for the firm.
• Specialise in a practice area, staying informed on economic, political and market trends.
• Execute projects to firm‑wide quality standards, delivering scope‑aligned deliverables on time.
• Identify and communicate risks early, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, allocating stretch assignments to retain talent.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing procurement engagements of moderate complexity.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Excellent client‑management and networking skills.
• Demonstrated capability to coach and develop junior colleagues.
• Awareness of market trends, competitor activity and emerging procurement practices.
