Manager, SAP Authorization

About the role

The Manager, SAP Authorization is responsible for overseeing the Delegation of Authority (DoA) framework across the organization. This role ensures that business processes, access controls, and governance policies are aligned to support secure and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, and enhance DoA frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate DoA approvals, updates, and implementation to maintain effective governance.
• Serve as the primary contact for end‑user inquiries on delegated authorities.
• Analyze business processes to define appropriate authorization and approval requirements.
• Develop and maintain operational authority matrices aligned with approved procedures.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to authorization design, segregation of duties, and access permissions.
• Prepare documentation of risk assessments, mitigation actions, and risk acceptance decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of user access rights, authorizations, and role assignments.
• Produce periodic reports on authorization effectiveness and support audit activities.
