Medical Advisor – Oncology

About the role

The Medical Advisor – Oncology will join a leading pharmaceutical company in Riyadh, providing scientific and medical expertise across oncology therapeutic areas. The role supports internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the safe and effective use of the company’s oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep scientific knowledge in oncology and the Saudi healthcare landscape.
• Facilitate scientific exchange with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Provide medical information, respond to clinical queries and deliver presentations.
• Support marketing, sales and regulatory teams on scientific matters and internal training.
• Assist with clinical research, investigator‑initiated studies and observational studies following SOPs.
• Attend scientific meetings and conferences, summarising key data for internal use.

Required profile

• Saudi national (due to Saudization).
• Medical degree (MD), PharmD or related life‑science qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience in Oncology Medical Affairs.
• Strong understanding of oncology therapies and the Saudi healthcare system.
