Medical Enabler - Hematology

About the role

Roche is hiring a Medical Enabler for Hematology in the Middle East, based in Riyadh. The role acts as a specialized therapeutic expert who optimizes regional resources to drive strategic medical outcomes and strengthen capabilities across the Middle East, while keeping sustained local engagement in the assigned disease area. It works 80% in the ME countries with Disease Area Squads, affiliate points of contact, the Disease Commercialization Leader, Patient Journey Partners and medical, access and informatics teams, and 20% within the local affiliate or chapter.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate regional medical initiatives with affiliate SMEs and cross-country work package teams, consolidating cross-market insights and scaling solutions
• Shape the medical direction at ME level for the disease area across its full lifecycle
• Build medical capability through training for enablers, PPOCs and new joiners, and align with Global Medical Affairs on scientific communication
• Drive competitive intelligence and prepare for launches, including pre-launch and launch readiness, DA plans and launch archetypes
• Run ME scientific education and medical insight-gathering activities, emphasizing unmet needs before launch

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of medical experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
• Prior experience in the designated disease area preferred
• Experience in cross-functional, matrixed environments and in leading or taking part in work package teams beyond the affiliate level
