National Key Account Manager

About the role

The National Key Account Manager is an individual‑contributor responsible for executing the commercial and category agenda across the Kingdom's most strategic modern‑trade accounts. Reporting to the Head of Modern Trade, the role translates channel strategy into detailed, account‑specific plans and drives day‑to‑day execution, from trading term closure to in‑store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own annual account plans for 3–4 key accounts, setting volume targets, promotional calendars and distribution objectives.
• Own account‑level P&L in SAR, tracking revenue, trade spend, gross profit and target attainment.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews with buying and commercial teams, presenting performance data and forward plans.
• Lead annual trading term negotiations, promotional programmes, listing agreements and new product introductions.
• Manage multi‑DC supply coordination and seasonal planning for Ramadan, Eid, National Day and school season.
• Ensure in‑store execution standards: on‑shelf availability, planogram compliance, pricing accuracy and share of shelf.

Required profile

• Deep familiarity with operational cadences, buying structures and execution requirements of major KSA retail accounts.
• Proven experience managing multi‑DC supply chains and seasonal account planning.
• Strong analytical ability to track account P&L and sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation skills with major retail groups (e.g., Panda, BinDawood, Al Othaim).
