Painter – Building Interiors & Exteriors

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to prepare, prime and paint a variety of surfaces across city facilities, including building interiors and exteriors, bridges, parking lots and signage. The role involves working on-site in St. Louis, following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, cleaning and priming.
• Mix, match and apply paints, varnishes, enamels and other finishes.
• Set up and operate scaffolding, ladders and spray‑gun equipment for high‑reach work.
• Cover and protect surrounding areas, remove fixtures, and perform touch‑ups.
• Estimate material quantities, calculate costs and purchase supplies.
• Read blueprints or work orders to determine scope and required techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial or municipal painting projects.
• Ability to work at heights and handle physical labor.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
