Paramedic – Clinical Operations Lead

About the role

The Paramedic will coordinate clinical and operational activities during each shift to ensure high‑quality, efficient patient care. This role involves direct emergency response, disaster planning, education, and equipment readiness across pre‑hospital and inter‑hospital settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced life support (ACLS, PALS) to ill or injured patients in pre‑hospital and inter‑hospital environments.
• Act as medical incident commander at emergency scenes, coordinating with incident commanders and other responders.
• Lead disaster planning, drills, and exercises; ensure readiness of ambulances, equipment, and supplies.
• Evaluate pre‑hospital care committees, manage monthly schedules, and coordinate training courses with academic affairs.
• Serve as operations manager for event preparation and as medical leader during site events.
• Collaborate with government agencies and NGOs for joint training and technology sharing.
• Perform risk assessments, quality‑assurance monitoring, and data analysis to identify trends and improve policies.
• Maintain compliance with standing orders, protocols, and advanced life‑support guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pre‑hospital emergency medical services.
• Ability to coordinate clinical and operational activities across shifts.
• Experience acting as a medical incident commander and participating in disaster response.
• Strong background in education, training, and risk/compliance management.
• Capability to analyze patient care data and drive quality‑assurance improvements.

Required skills
