Pharmacovigilance Manager – Middle East

About the role

Servier is seeking a dedicated Pharmacovigilance Manager to lead safety activities across the Middle East region. Based in Riyadh, you will act as the Local Pharmacovigilance Responsible Person, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations for pharmacovigilance, cosmetovigilance and medical device vigilance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve protocols for PV, CV and MDV studies.
• Coordinate safety oversight with Global Safety (Paris) and regional regulatory teams.
• Maintain the local Pharmacovigilance System and act as the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) where required.
• Collect, analyse and transmit individual case safety reports (ICSRs) and serious adverse drug reactions (SADRs) to Global Safety.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve SOPs, training programmes and aggregate reporting.
• Support set‑up of PV, CV and MDV activities for new products and clinical studies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, cosmetovigilance or medical device vigilance.
• Strong knowledge of Middle East regulatory requirements and QPPV responsibilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and liaise with health authorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
