Pre Sales Consultant (HealthCare IT / PACS / RIS / VNA)

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Consultant will drive technical and clinical credibility for Agfa Healthcare’s imaging IT portfolio, including PACS, RIS and VNA solutions. Working closely with sales managers, you will shape solution designs, respond to RFI/RFPs and support the company’s regional expansion in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to analyse customer workflows and develop winning solution strategies.
• Deliver technical presentations to customer IT teams and key opinion leaders.
• Own end‑to‑end RFI/RFP responses, defining win themes and ensuring proposal quality.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clinical and IT stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct discovery workshops to translate pain points into tailored value propositions.
• Support tender pricing, business case development and high‑stakes negotiations.
• Represent Agfa at trade shows, congresses and customer workshops.
• Collaborate with implementation teams for smooth post‑sale handover and account growth.
• Stay current on PACS/RIS market trends, regulations and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of experience in healthcare imaging IT, preferably in pre‑sales or solution architecture.
• Proven ability to design enterprise‑grade, multi‑site PACS/RIS architectures.
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and clinical audiences.
