Procurement & Local Content Lead

About the role

The Procurement & Local Content Lead will drive strategic procurement initiatives and local content programs, reporting to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager. This role supports cross‑purchasing across business units, ensures compliance with local content regulations, and develops the supplier ecosystem to maximise group value.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor local content strategies to improve IKTVA performance and national value creation.
• Identify, qualify, and develop local suppliers to strengthen the supply chain ecosystem.
• Ensure compliance with local content regulations and reporting requirements.
• Lead cross‑purchasing initiatives, manage framework agreements, and drive strategic sourcing.
• Oversee procurement master data governance and continuous process improvement.
• Engage internal stakeholders and external partners to support localisation efforts.
• Track procurement and local content KPIs, prepare spend analyses, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Manage supplier performance evaluations, vendor governance, and continuous improvement programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or localisation roles.
• Strong expertise in local content programmes, supplier development and regulatory compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are advantageous.
