Project Manager – Hajj & Umrah

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end Hajj and Umrah projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, KPIs and risk are managed in a high‑stakes, seasonal environment. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, supervisors and external suppliers to deliver pilgrim‑facing operations that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor Hajj & Umrah projects according to approved scope and objectives.
• Prepare and track project timelines and budgets, analyse deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Measure operational performance against KPIs and report progress to senior management.
• Allocate tasks, clarify roles and supervise the quality of work performed by the project team.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, preparing remediation plans as needed.
• Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and scope.
• Coordinate with internal departments to secure resources and maintain smooth workflow.
• Handle client feedback, complaints and stakeholder communication to enhance satisfaction.
• Represent the company at meetings, events and exhibitions related to pilgrimage projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in logistics or large‑scale event coordination.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex contracts.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting and financial monitoring.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, Trello or Jira.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Prince2).
