Rolling Stock Maintenance Technician – Riyadh

About the role

In this hands‑on position you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on a fleet of 50 driverless metro trains operating on Lines 4 & 6 in Riyadh. Reporting to the Rolling Stock Leader, you will ensure high availability, safety and reliability of the service while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, routine and emergency maintenance tasks, both planned and unplanned.
• Diagnose and resolve technical failures across mechanical, electrical and other metro subsystems.
• Strictly follow safety protocols, method statements and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Provide rapid onsite intervention to recover trains and restore service with minimal disruption.
• Maintain transparent reporting and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality (Saudis only).
• Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in rolling stock, railway or heavy‑equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, planning skills and a sense of urgency.
• Team player with clear reporting skills in a multicultural environment.
