Senior Accountant

About the role

You will oversee the accounting operations of a Saudi hospital business that operates across KSA, the UAE and the wider MENA region. Reporting to the Chief Accountant/Finance Manager, you will manage the full accounting function for the company and its regional subsidiaries, ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and support the organization’s continued expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain internal controls, tax compliance and accurate record‑keeping for the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other stakeholders.
• Support regional expansion by providing reliable financial data and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (5 years preferred).
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure while maintaining integrity.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, safety, diversity and inclusion.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with financial systems and internal control frameworks.
