Senior Butler – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Senior Butler will lead the butler team at Raffles The Red Sea, delivering the brand’s legendary graciousness to discerning guests throughout their stay, from pre‑arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome VIP and long‑stay guests, conduct in‑suite check‑ins and provide detailed suite orientations.
• Design and execute bespoke experiences such as private heritage walks, exclusive restaurant reservations and high‑profile celebrations.
• Oversee master valet services including packing, garment pressing, laundry valet and shoe‑shining to the highest luxury standards.
• Manage in‑suite dining experiences, from afternoon tea to private meals, ensuring impeccable table presentation.
• Supervise daily butler operations, allocate resources and mentor junior staff to uphold the Raffles brand personality.
• Maintain comprehensive guest profiles, recording preferences and “quirks” to ensure seamless handover between shifts.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in 5‑star or Forbes‑rated luxury hospitality, preferably as a butler or senior guest‑relations professional.
• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
• Strong cultural awareness and discretion when serving international high‑net‑worth travelers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems, specifically Opera PMS.
