Senior Counsel, Compliance

About the role

The Senior Counsel, Compliance will support CEER's risk management and compliance functions by ensuring that all operations align with applicable laws and regulations. This role will monitor risks, develop governance frameworks, and promote ethical conduct across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate compliance advice for CEER’s operations, guaranteeing alignment with all relevant statutes and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, support compliance initiatives, and resolve compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory demands and corporate governance standards.
• Monitor adherence to applicable laws, ethical standards, and administrative regulations throughout CEER’s activities.
• Track and follow up on penal and administrative decisions to ensure they are implemented according to CEER policies.
• Analyze compliance and regulatory risks affecting operations and propose mitigation actions.
• Gather regulatory updates, judicial rulings, and industry developments, preparing periodic compliance reports.
• Review third‑party activities to ensure they meet CEER’s compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, finance, technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or risk management.
