About the role
Group-IB, a cybersecurity company founded in 2003 and headquartered in Singapore, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Development team. You will build, maintain and scale high-availability systems that power the group's global services, working with Linux, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools, monitoring systems and distributed databases.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise core server infrastructure, including bare-metal servers, LXC containers, virtual machines and cloud environments.
- Operate and support services such as Nginx, Puppet, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus, Harbor and Grafana.
- Manage infrastructure following the Infrastructure as Code paradigm and handle infrastructure incidents.
- Collaborate with network engineers, developers and other technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement high-availability, fault-tolerant and scalable solutions.
- Monitor service performance and availability with observability tools, ensuring reliable resource use.
Required profile
- Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong plus.
- 4+ years of experience in Linux administration, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience managing bare-metal infrastructure in production.
- Ability to design high-performance, fault-tolerant and secure infrastructure.
Required skills
- Bash or similar scripting for automation.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS).
- Configuration management with Ansible or Puppet.
- Kubernetes and IaC tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.
- Distributed databases (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and observability tools (Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Grafana).
- Advantageous: Python or Go, cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud), Ceph, Istio, and experience with large-scale distributed systems.
