Senior Geographic Information System Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior GIS Specialist to support Enterprise GIS operations, geospatial data management, and integration of GIS with enterprise and operational systems. The role focuses on infrastructure and asset management, ensuring data accuracy, topology and compliance with GIS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Enterprise GIS, enterprise geodatabases and spatial datasets, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Perform spatial and network analysis to support infrastructure planning, asset management, risk mapping and decision‑making.
• Support ArcGIS Utility Network, including network connectivity, topology, asset relationships and data quality.
• Apply Linear Referencing Systems for linear infrastructure and asset location management.
• Integrate GIS with EAM, SCADA, BIM, BI and other enterprise platforms, and support ETL workflows for spatial and non‑spatial data.
• Develop and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, web applications and spatial visualisation products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, Computer Science or related field.
• 4–8 years of GIS experience in infrastructure, utilities, water, transportation or similar asset‑intensive environments.
• Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience with enterprise geodatabases, spatial data management and geoprocessing.
• Good knowledge of data quality, topology, network connectivity and infrastructure asset data management.
• Understanding of SQL, spatial databases and GIS integration concepts.
