Senior Legal Advisor

About the role

Banque Saudi Fransi is seeking a Senior Legal Advisor to provide strategic counsel across banking, commercial, regulatory and litigation matters. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws while supporting business objectives and operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day legal activities and assist the General Counsel with high‑level matters.
• Advise business lines on banking and commercial transactions, drafting and revising agreements.
• Attend hearings, trials and investigations, reporting outcomes to senior legal leadership.
• Manage relationships between the Legal Governance Division (LGD) and various business units.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and development for Legal Advisors.
• Handle litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, minimizing risk and maximizing recovery.

Required profile

• Law degree (J.D., L.L.B., L.L.M. or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 7 years of legal practice experience, preferably with litigation exposure.

• Legal drafting and contract negotiation.
• Litigation management and courtroom representation.
• Regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
