Senior Legal Consultant – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

The Senior Legal Consultant will provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance across a wide range of business activities. This role combines strategic counsel with hands‑on contract drafting and risk management to support the organization’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Offer legal guidance on corporate governance, board meetings, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct legal research, monitor legislative changes, and advise on potential impacts.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements, including joint ventures and licensing deals.
• Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with new ventures, partnerships, and M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and risk‑management frameworks.
• Support crisis management and contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the legal function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
• Valid practice license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal consultant or equivalent role.
• Fluent English (essential).
