Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Senior Legal Counsel will provide practical, commercial legal advice to support Cenomi Retail’s extensive retail and franchising operations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and internationally. Reporting to the Senior Legal Manager, the role involves drafting and negotiating agreements, managing legal risk, and assisting the Director of Legal, Governance & Compliance on corporate and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements independently.
• Provide commercial legal advice to business units and senior management.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with external counsel when required.
• Support corporate governance, compliance and other legal matters for the Director of Legal, Governance & Compliance.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Background in a reputable law firm and/or multinational corporation.
• Strong exposure to commercial agreements and corporate advisory work.
• Experience in retail, franchising or multinational businesses is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ownership, high organization, detail‑orientation and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
