Senior Manager, Federations Financial Forensics

About the role

The Senior Manager, Federations Financial Forensics will lead financial forensic, audit support and accounting review activities across sports federations. The role ensures transparency, accuracy and financial integrity in line with SOPC governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and apply SOPC’s standardized accounting framework across federations.
• Review federation financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor accounting transactions, budget utilization and spending trends to detect risks or irregularities.
• Collaborate with federation finance teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Support planning and execution of federation financial audits, including fieldwork and internal control assessments.
• Conduct forensic reviews of suspected fraud, misconduct or improper spending and prepare evidence‑based reports.
• Track audit observations, follow up on remediation plans and recommend control enhancements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with experience in financial forensics and audit support.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and internal control assessments.
• Ability to work closely with federation finance teams and internal stakeholders.
