Senior Policy Manager – Middle East

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Policy Manager to lead its public‑affairs activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and key Middle‑East markets. Reporting to the Director of International Policy and Public Affairs in Brussels, the role will shape regulatory and stakeholder engagement strategies that support Lucid’s commercial and sustainability objectives in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Lucid’s primary point of contact with ministries, regulators and industry bodies in KSA and priority Middle‑East markets.
• Develop and execute regional policy strategies in close collaboration with commercial, product, supply‑chain and leadership teams.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with government officials, diplomatic missions, industry associations and think‑tanks.
• Monitor regulatory developments, provide early‑warning alerts and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Prepare high‑quality policy briefs, executive summaries and other stakeholder materials.
• Represent Lucid in external coalitions and industry forums to advance electric‑vehicle and sustainability policies.
• Ensure alignment and consistency of policy approaches across all Middle‑East markets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in government relations, public policy or regulatory affairs within the automotive or clean‑technology sector.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle‑East.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization and deliver results under pressure.
