Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy’s Foreign Military Sales C4I modernization program for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. The position is based on‑site in Riyadh (with travel to Jubail and Jeddah) and involves end‑to‑end engineering of C4I and commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, technical site surveys, and system verification for C4I capabilities deployed on RSNF platforms and shore facilities.
• Plan and execute System Operation Verification Tests (SOVTs), develop test procedures, and document discrepancies.
• Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for COTS products such as radars, GPS, EO cameras, and tactical data links, delivering trade‑study recommendations.
• Support Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and prepare engineering artifacts.
• Author and sanitize technical documentation for foreign‑disclosure review and coordinate with the U.S. Government Foreign Disclosure Office.
• Interface regularly with U.S. Government officials, senior Saudi military leaders, and program managers.

Required profile

• Minimum Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
• At least 60 months (5 years) of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Full‑time availability and ability to work on‑site in Saudi Arabia.
