SEO Merchandizer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented SEO Merchandizer to join our E‑Commerce team. You will play a key part in boosting website visibility, traffic and search rankings while supporting our shift toward generative AI‑driven search strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute SEO activities to improve organic visibility and rankings.
• Monitor website performance with Google Analytics and deliver actionable insights.
• Support the transition from traditional SEO to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI‑led search optimization.
• Track developments in AI search, conversational engines and Agentic Commerce, identifying business opportunities.
• Coordinate tasks between external SEO/Digital agencies and internal IT teams for timely implementation.
• Collaborate with content, marketing and technical teams to optimise site structure, content and performance.
• Track, analyse and report SEO KPIs such as traffic, rankings, conversions and user behaviour.
• Develop dashboards and reports using advanced Excel skills.
• Create professional presentations and regular progress updates for management.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Organised, accountable and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively between agencies, developers and internal teams.
