Talent Acquisition Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Trainee to join our HR team through the Tamheer Program. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in recruitment, employer branding, and candidate management while supporting our hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, social media, career fairs and professional networks.
• Screen resumes and shortlist applicants according to job requirements.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and maintain follow‑up communication with candidates.
• Help build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring.
• Prepare job postings, descriptions and other recruitment materials.
• Assist with onboarding tasks such as document collection and orientation coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Eligible and registered in the Tamheer Program (no employment in the last 6 months and not currently registered in GOSI).
• Strong communication, high attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HR systems.
• Passion for HR, recruitment and talent development.
