Waiter/ess – Japanese Nikkei Cuisine

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter/ess to join our team at Jumeirah The Red Sea, serving Japanese Nikkei cuisine in a luxury resort setting. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional service, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed food and wine recommendations.
• Take orders accurately, including special requests, and communicate them to the kitchen via the POS system.
• Serve dishes and beverages promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, handling concerns or requests efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Uphold Jumeirah Hallmarks by demonstrating courteous and unobtrusive service.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector.
• Experience working in an international environment and sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Ability to discuss food and wine choices confidently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
