Workforce Planning & Recruitment Coordinator (HR Specialist)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and analytical Workforce Planning & Recruitment Coordinator to support the delivery of a large‑scale international sporting event in Riyadh. The role will bridge functional leaders, recruitment teams and operational stakeholders to ensure the project workforce is recruited, onboarded and mobilised on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce planning across multiple functional areas to capture hiring priorities, resource needs and project timelines.
• Maintain and update the workforce plan, ensuring recruitment activities align with operational milestones.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle: candidate submissions, interview scheduling, feedback, offers, onboarding and mobilisation.
• Monitor recruitment progress, maintain trackers, dashboards and management reports for visibility.
• Analyse recruitment data and hiring trends to support decision‑making and identify risks or gaps.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep recruitment activities efficient and aligned with business priorities.
• Support workforce mobilisation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational delivery and budget optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience analysing workforce data and metrics.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, project‑oriented environments.
