Business Development Executive

About the role

Gulfwest Company Ltd., a leading food import and distribution firm in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a full‑time Business Development Executive to join its Jeddah office. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint across food service and retail channels by identifying new opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food service and retail sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and manage existing accounts.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategic planning.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new business development and lead generation, preferably within food distribution, FMCG, or related industries.
• Strong account management and client‑relationship skills.
• Solid understanding of business principles, commercial negotiations, and sales pipeline management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid eligibility to work on‑site in Jeddah and willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia.
