Director of Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Construction to lead large‑scale, complex building projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of 5‑star luxury hotels and high‑rise towers, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all construction activities to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee planning, execution, and site operations for large building developments.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, methodologies, and execution plans.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and apply mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi regulations, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Drive productivity, cost control, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Present progress reports, forecasts, KPIs, and performance updates to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of construction experience, including Tier 1 main contractor work.
• Proven delivery of 5‑star luxury hotel projects and high‑rise tower constructions.
• Track record of multi‑billion SAR projects and major building developments.
• Experience managing projects from mobilization through handover, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
