Lead DCS System Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Lead DCS System Engineer to drive the design, inspection, and standardisation of engineering solutions across its global operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of control system installations while guiding a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and define feasibility testing approaches.
• Conduct inspections to assess quality and integrity of existing installations and recommend remedial actions.
• Develop and evaluate engineering standards and specifications for the DCS discipline.
• Communicate local action plans aligned with corporate strategy and motivate the team to achieve business goals.
• Support internal communications systems and provide coaching to build organisational capability.
• Monitor team performance, allocate work, and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Participate in project management activities to meet defined objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams within industrial automation or process control.
• Strong analytical skills to manage complex technical information.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
