Accountant and Government Relations Officer

About the role

Amal Middle East Contracting Est. seeks a qualified Accountant and Government Relations Officer to oversee the company’s financial operations and manage interactions with Saudi government platforms. The role combines core accounting duties with the coordination of labor, residency, and social insurance services for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT and Zakat declarations to ZATCA.
• Handle tax filings and respond to ZATCA requirements.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities using Wafeq software.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Human Resources, Labor Office, Qiwa platform, and GOSI for employee‑related services.
• Process passport, Muqeem, residency renewals, and work permits.
• Monitor and resolve issues on Saudi electronic government portals.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Hands‑on knowledge of VAT, Zakat, and Saudi tax regulations.
• Familiarity with work‑permit, residency, and social‑insurance procedures.
• Experience using Saudi government platforms (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, etc.).
• Preferably background in the contracting sector and ability to work independently.
