Accountant – Cash Flow & Banking Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee cash flow and manage banking operations across the Easy World Group. The role ensures accurate financial records, supports cash‑management activities and provides insights to senior management for informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank positions and perform daily checks.
• Prepare and deliver monthly MIS management reports.
• Liaise with banks, manage corporate bank accounts and handle all banking-related tasks.
• Assist the Finance Manager with audits, resolve queries and ensure audit readiness.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations, related‑party reconciliations and close the books.
• Process payments (TT, cheques) and verify petty‑cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, system entries and manage RP transactions (PDC issuance and fund monitoring).
• Maintain financial records, logs, spreadsheets and registers as required.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
• Compute and file VAT and Zakat returns accurately and on time.
• Conduct inventory physical verification, analyze discrepancies and plan corrective actions.
• Handle payable clearing, shipping clearing, bank transfer clearing and related‑party reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MBA in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills at management level and with banks/customers.
• Proactive attitude with a track record of meeting tight timelines.
• Arabic speaking ability is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of accounting software.
