Accountant

About the role

This full‑time Accountant position is based on‑site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, supporting Kreston SB’s finance team. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing, preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance‑sheet items.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards, internal policies and local regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors and other stakeholders during reviews and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or audit roles.
• Knowledge of Saudi accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as 1Audit.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and basic data analysis.
