AI & Transformation Business Leader

About the role

A well‑established finance company in Saudi Arabia is looking for an AI & Business Transformation Leader to define and drive its enterprise‑wide AI, digital and business transformation agenda. Reporting directly to the CEO with regular Board exposure, the role translates technology investments into measurable commercial, customer and productivity outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the AI, digital and business transformation strategy, creating a prioritized roadmap with clear investments, milestones and benefits.
• Establish a Transformation Office and provide executive and Board‑level governance reporting.
• Prioritise high‑value AI use cases across acquisition, credit assessment, underwriting, fraud, collections, pricing and servicing.
• Redesign end‑to‑end digital lending journeys, including onboarding, decisioning, servicing and collections.
• Develop digital‑first financing propositions such as embedded finance, open banking and platform‑based lending.
• Build and negotiate strategic partnerships with fintechs, technology providers and ecosystem participants.
• Evolve the operating model and lead change management, partnering with HR to develop AI and digital capabilities across the organisation.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in enterprise transformation, AI, digital financial services, fintech or technology‑enabled business growth.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation within a bank, finance company, fintech or digital lender, with deep knowledge of the lending lifecycle.
• Demonstrated success in advancing technology capabilities and delivering measurable commercial, customer and productivity outcomes.
• Experience engaging with Boards and regulators.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field; MBA or executive qualification preferred.
• Saudi or GCC experience and multinational exposure is advantageous.
