Allocator (Merchandise Planner) - The Visitor

About the role

The Allocator ensures the optimal distribution of inventory, keeping products available for retail, e-commerce and B2B accounts. The role covers inventory planning, replenishment and monitoring of key performance indicators to keep supply chain operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and run the initial allocation strategy for seasonal products across stores, aligned with assortment and demand plans.
• Build and maintain inventory and replenishment plans, taking account of store space, delivery frequency and stock needs.
• Adjust stock parameters, safety stock and days of coverage to optimise inventory and avoid overstock or stockouts.
• Manage inventory push initiatives in line with sales and clearance strategies, markdowns and promotions.
• Balance inventory between stores, MFC (Digital) and hub, and optimise store-to-store transfers to meet dynamic demand.
• Work with retail teams to coordinate delivery volumes and prepare stores for incoming stock.
• Conduct regular store visits with the team.
• Monitor and analyse planning KPIs such as in-stock availability (ISA), Days of Inventory (DOI) and On-Time In-Full (OTIF), and track store-to-store transfers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply planning or allocation, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
