Assistant Director of Sales

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales supports the property’s segmented sales effort, driving revenue across group, transient, association and corporate segments. You will work closely with the sales leader to implement strategies that meet revenue targets while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies in line with the property’s overall plan.
• Lead aggressive solicitation programs to increase business and maximize revenue.
• Approve space releases for catering and support the operational aspects of booked business, including proposals and contracts.
• Participate in sales calls, acquire new business and close deals.
• Analyze market and financial data to adjust tactics and achieve segment revenue goals.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field plus 3 years sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 1 year experience.
• Proven ability to meet personal booking goals and drive team performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using sales systems for market analysis.
