Auditor – CPA & SOCPA Certified (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified CPA with SOCPA membership to lead accounting, financial reporting and compliance functions in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure that all financial statements and tax filings meet IFRS, SOCPA and ZATCA requirements while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SOCPA standards.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regulations, including VAT, Zakat and corporate income tax.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles and oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
• Coordinate with external auditors, lead internal audit processes and handle audit documentation.
• Prepare and submit accurate VAT and Zakat returns within statutory deadlines.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
• Analyse financial performance, produce management reports and forecasts.
• Support budgeting, cost‑control and financial planning activities while ensuring compliance with Saudi labour, tax and commercial laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA certification (US or equivalent) and mandatory SOCPA membership.
• 3–9 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOCPA standards and Saudi tax legislation.
• Hands‑on experience with ZATCA requirements (VAT, Zakat, corporate tax).
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
