Chief Accountant – Wellness Resort

About the role

The Chief Accountant will support the Director of Finance in translating Jayasom Wellness Resort’s strategic vision into concrete financial programs and policies. This role is central to the resort’s finance department, handling budgeting, reporting, and business planning while upholding the resort’s wellness and sustainability culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Finance in preparing budgets, financial reports, and business plans.
• Analyze and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.
• Develop and implement financial processes, policies, and procedures in compliance with company policies and local laws.
• Ensure all finance activities are performed honestly, ethically, and in line with local regulations.
• Attend internal meetings, communicate operational and financial results, and ensure timely distribution of reports.
• Provide clear guidance to finance team members regarding roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Foster effective relationships with colleagues, corporate offices, and vendors.
• Promote a collaborative work environment built on open communication, trust, and professionalism.
• Participate in meetings, committees, trainings, and community activities at the resort.
• Support the achievement of the company’s business targets and undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.
