Collection Officer - Saudi National

About the role

The Collection Officer for the Varian Radiation Oncology business within Siemens Healthineers manages outstanding debts owed by clients and customers. The officer contacts clients about their debts, negotiates payment plans and ensures payments are made as soon as possible. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage accounts receivable with customers in a timely manner.
• Allocate received payments and follow up on payment status with the central AR team on the receivable clearing process.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to speed up collections.
• Manage accounts receivable, reduce overdue balances, handle complaints, issue dunning letters and liaise with the credit control team on overdue debt.
• Provide forecast input on collections and define collection strategies to improve the aging of receivables and prevent overdue amounts.
• Contact debtors to confirm payment dates and check payments against customer commitments.
• Build productive customer relationships to secure quick payment.
• Support the Sales team administratively and coordinate meetings, travel and client visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• More than 1 year of experience in cash collection, billing and finance/accounting processes.
• Previous proven work experience in the healthcare industry.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel, as 30% of travel will be outside Riyadh.
