Consultant Obstetric and Gynecology

About the role

The National Medical Care Co. is seeking an experienced Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology to deliver high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care. The role demands adherence to professional medical ethics, JCIA/CBAHI standards, and Saudi Ministry of Health regulations while leading the department toward continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for obstetric and gynecologic cases, both inpatient and outpatient.
• Lead the department’s quality plan, using measurable performance‑improvement standards.
• Conduct daily ward rounds, develop multidisciplinary treatment plans, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Supervise junior staff, participate in on‑call rotations, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Drive performance‑improvement initiatives and engage in continued medical education activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant clinical experience.
• Knowledge of JCIA/CBAHI standards, Ministry of Health regulations, and departmental quality plans.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise junior staff.
• Commitment to professional ethics and patient rights.
