Country Head – Saudi Arabia, Senior Vice President

About the role

State Street is seeking a dynamic senior executive to lead its operations in Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to global leadership, the Country Head / Senior Vice President will act as the CEO of the CMA‑regulated legal entity, driving the Investment Services and Investment Management strategy across the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country‑level strategy for Investment Services and Investment Management, ensuring alignment with State Street’s global objectives.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, government agencies, the Capital Market Authority, Ministry of Investment and other public stakeholders.
• Oversee all State Street divisions in Saudi Arabia, ensuring best practices, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the 5‑year strategic plan to triple revenues, launch locally domiciled ETFs, Saudi sub‑custody, fund administration and an optimized UCITS fund infrastructure.
• Champion a “One State Street” culture, coordinating functional leaders, global client executives and delivery teams to provide market‑leading service.
• Manage high‑impact client projects such as remediation programmes, new business acquisition and onboarding.
• Leverage private and public sector networks to support Vision 2030 and the firm’s long‑term growth in the Kingdom.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in financial services, preferably within investment services, asset management or custodial operations.
• Deep understanding of Saudi regulatory environment, including CMA, Ministry of Investment and related public institutions.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and launching new financial products in a complex market.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with government, institutional investors and corporate clients.
• Ability to operate as a public face of the firm and influence senior policymakers.
