Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist - Khafji KSA

About the role

The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist will ensure the availability, security and proper configuration of critical security platforms in our Khafji office. You will work closely with SOC and IT teams to maintain firewalls, EDR, SIEM, backup systems and to support patch and vulnerability remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on endpoint protection/EDR, firewalls, IPS/IDS, email security gateways and SIEM collectors.
• Apply OS patches and security updates to security appliances and supporting Windows/Linux servers, track compliance and validate remediation.
• Implement, review and document firewall rules, ensuring adherence to least‑privilege and segmentation standards.
• Execute backup and recovery processes for security devices, conduct restoration tests and monitor backup integrity.
• Apply baseline hardening (e.g., CIS benchmarks) and remediate configuration drift across operating systems and security tools.
• Conduct daily health checks of system availability, agent/sensor status and generate reports; support alert triage for infrastructure failures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands‑on exposure to Windows and Linux administration, basic networking and security concepts.
• Entry‑level certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA are preferred.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration (patching, basic tasks).
• Linux command‑line administration.
• TCP/IP fundamentals and firewall concepts (NAT, ACLs, ports).
• Experience with EDR/Antivirus platforms and firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks).
• Backup concepts and tools.
• Scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmark hardening standards.
